Indian Passport Ranks 86th

Singapore/Internet/Hyderabad, Oct 16 (Maxim News):  The Indian passport has slipped in rank compared to last year.  It has secured the 85th rank in 2025.  Henley Passport Index.  The Indian passport has visa-free access to 57 countries.  Last year, it was ranked 80th in the same index.  At that time, it had visa-free access to 62 countries.  it is clear that it has fallen by 5 places in a year.

The Singaporean passport has retained its position as the most powerful passport in the world.  It allows visa-free travel to 193 countries.  The South Korean passport is second in the list, allowing visa-free travel to 190 countries.  The Japanese passport is third, allowing visa-free travel to 189 countries.  The passports of Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Spain and Switzerland are fourth, giving visa-free travel to 188 countries.  (Maxim News)
