Indian Railways Launches Contactless Ticket Checking

The central zone of Indian Railways has launched an app called ‘CheckIn Master‘ for contactless ticket checking at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai. The move will help in reducing the risk of getting infected with the coronavirus.

The railway staff can discharge their duties without any fear of the virus, as the app has code scanning features to check tickets from a safe distance. The automatic QR-code-based ticket checking app can also be used for attendance apart from real-time monitoring of the staff, who will be engaged with the ticket checking.
