India’s Biggest “Hyderabad Kids Fair-2021” to kick off on 24th December

Hyderabad: India’s Biggest “Hyderabad Kids Fair-2021” is back and is all set to go live after a gap of two years(there was a break in 2020) in a physical form from 24th December. It will be held at Hitex, Madhapur from December 24 to 26th.

This time it has gone bigger, bigger than the biggest ever. More than 150 exhibitors are participating, not just from the city but from all over India.

Some of the top exhibitors in the 14th edition include:

BYJUS, the biggest startup in the Indian education technology (edtech) space, by far; FabieBaby, Dubai based premium baby care brand which is foraying into Indian market Spark Studio offers the best online extracurricular training & certification programs for kids aged 5 to 15; Instrucko, one-to-one language learning platform ; Nestle, the world’s largest food and beverages company with over 2000 brands and Taught Academy, an online global academy for extracurricular activities designed to explore & build child’s passion; Stem Learning, the provider of Mini Science Center setups for schools in India and others.

The other reason for choosing Hyderabad is, it is home to biggest chains of pharmacies such as Apollo Pharmacy and MedPlus. Hence, there is a connect. Nearly 2.7 crore babies are born in India every year. 9% of India’s total population is in the age bracket of 0 to 4years. Ms. Swathi Vasureddy, founder of Gigglemug said there will be a lot of engaging activities for kids such as escape route, kids run, science exhibition and obstacles course. There will be ISRO Bus Exhibition. It is a Space on Wheels, a mobile exhibition unit of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), with a hope to inspire schoolchildren to learn more about the Indian space programme. Space on Wheels is arranged inside a bus and features scale models of ISRO launch vehicles, satellites, space applications, and the launch pads at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota. The bus will introduce space-related activities to students not exposed to them she added.

Ravi Kabra, Co-Founder and CEO, Kabra Global Products, a participant of Indian version of Shark Tank, an American business reality television series said they will showcase and sell the India’s first and the only Icepops Brand. The product made from a patented technology, was introduced during the pandemic in April 2021. It has sold more than 5 lakh Icepops, has drawn plans to go national by 2022. Their start-up Kabra Global Products is one of the contestants from Hyderabad in Shark Tank India reality show that is going on air from December 20 on Sony.

Dr Ravi Kiran, Hospital Chief Operating Officer said Care with 12 beds and 2200 beds is foraying in to Mother and Child segment. Ms. Shailaja Shetty of My Prints announced that they are expanding their 3d Casting and other services to all major cities in India. Shubham Jain of Printz on Canvas among various services he highlighted about Art Restoration services and commercialization of drawings and art works done by amateurs. Sulakshana of We-Hub incubated Startup Shushu Babies said access to natural products should not be a privilege but, should be basic right’. She spoke about green parenting.

Hyderabad Kids’ Fair is a biannual flagship event organized by HITEX. It features non-stop entertainment with an extravaganza of games, hands-on learning, interactive sessions, fashion, exciting rides, art & crafts, role-plays, inspiring competitions, prizes & gifts, yummy food and many more fun-filled activities.

The Fair’s environment promotes creativity, positive thinking, self-esteem and confidence for the kids. Though kids’ entertainment is at the center of it all, other areas of interest include learning, healthcare, nutrition, sports and scientific exposition.

25,000+ Visitor Footfall has been registered in each edition.

The statistics reveal that there are 12 lakh school-going kids in Hyderabad. Over 25% of the population is kids under 14 years. INR 55 crore market is estimated to be kids’ sports goods and accessories.
