Infosys Co-founder Booked Under SC/ST Act Case In Karnataka
Senapathy Kris Gopalakrishnan, co-founder of Infosys and former CEO, has been named in a case filed under the Prevention of SC/ST Atrocities Act in Karnataka. The case was registered at the Sadashiva Nagar police station following instructions from the 71st City Civil and Sessions Court (CCH). Along with Gopalakrishnan, former Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Director Balaram and 16 other individuals have also been accused.

Allegations and Legal Proceedings
The complainant, Durgappa, a faculty member from the tribal Bovi community, has made several serious allegations, including caste-based abuse, threats, and wrongful involvement in a honey trap case that dates back to 2014. According to Durgappa, these actions led to his dismissal from IISc, where he had worked at the Centre for Sustainable Technology. Durgappa claims that the incident was a result of caste discrimination, which negatively impacted his professional life.

The case names 18 individuals, including prominent figures such as Govindan Rangarajan, Sridhar Warrier, Sandya Vishwswaraih, Hari K V S, Dasappa, Balaram P, Hemalata Mhishi, Chattopadyaya K, Pradeep D Sawkar, and Manoharan. Despite the severity of the allegations, no official statement has been issued by Kris Gopalakrishnan or any of the other accused parties at this time.
