Inspections On Food Quality Standards, Cleanliness To Be conducted: Commissioner

Hyderabad, August 21 (Maxim News): GHMC Commissioner Amrapali Kata has directed the concerned officials to conduct inspections on the quality of food items.

The commissioner held a teleconference with the additional and zonal commissioners on Wednesday. Speaking on this occasion, she ordered to carry out inspections on the quality standards of food items in all schools, colleges, and hostels and to undertake a special drive on mosquito prevention and control programs.

Special Drive On All Food Preparation Centers

Similarly, a special drive should be undertaken to check all the hostels, coaching centers, canteens, and food preparation centers and check whether they are preparing hygienic food with quality standards and what is not. The food preparation room should be clean, is everything in order as per the rules? Or they want to see that. It is advised to take action against the owners of food centers and hostels who do not comply with the quality standards and disturb the health of the students and people.

Anti-larvae operations should be carried out in all the schools, colleges, and hostels of the city on mosquito prevention measures, along with fogging around, the students should be made aware of the precautions to be taken to prevent mosquitoes, sanitation management, etc.
