Insulin Injections Bought Without Bills Were Seized In Hyderabad

Hyderabad, March 20 (Maxim News):  The Drug Control Authority (DCA) officials in Hyderabad city are creating a stir. Wholesale godowns in many areas of the city were raided and insulin injections bought without bills were seized. It was found that insulins were being brought illegally from Delhi without purchase bills.  It has been confirmed that insulins are being sold in the market at a 40 percent discount.

six wholesalers godowns in Hyderabad were raided and Rs. 51 lakh worth of insulin injections were seized.  DCa officials revealed that they are selling insulin without bills and avoiding tax to the government. An investigation was carried out from the point of view of whether the insulins were being sold with a 40 percent discount.

For the past few days, DCa officials have been conducting raids on medical staff in Hyderabad city as well as across Telangana state.  Officials are finding massive adulteration at every place they raid.  (Maxim News)
