Interest Free Loans For Musi Residents

Hyderabad, Oct 17 (Maxim News): The government which has paid Rs. 25 thousand for the expenses of the residents of Musi River bed along with double-bedroom houses, will also get interest-free loans to them for the purpose.

The authorities have already formed 17 self-help groups with the women of the families who have moved to double-bed houses, it is reported that a total of 172 women have been identified in those groups, and bank accounts have been opened separately for them. Business to Self-Help Groups through Strinidhi from Urban Community Development (UCD).

Steps are being taken to provide interest-free loans for other professions. Also, Children in families who have shifted to double-bedroom houses are being identified and are joining the nearby schools.  A total of 159 children have been identified in Hyderabad district so far. A total of 37 children have been enrolled in schools near the double-bedroom houses, officials said. Others said that they are showing interest in joining Gurukuls. Officials of the Education Department said that they will join almost all of them in schools within a week.  (Maxim News)
