Investigation Continues Into Videos At CMR College Girls Hostel 

Hyderabad, Jan 3 (Maxim News): The police investigation into the Medchal CMR College incident is ongoing. A complaint was received that private videos of girls were taken by intruders in the girl’s hostel.  The police have already detained seven youths, including the hostel warden. Nine mobile phones have been seized from them. The hostel warden has already been suspended by the management.

On the other hand, the police have also collected several fingerprints. The fingerprints have been sent to the forensic lab. Parents are expressing concern that the videos of the girls will be leaked.  

The Women’s Commission has already started an investigation into the incident.  This case is based on the report from forensics. The college management has declared holidays for three days due to this incident. With this, all the students are going home.

Meanwhile, a large number of students protested at Medchal CMR Engineering College, resulting in severe tension.  The students protested alleging that they were being filmed while taking baths and that cameras were installed in the bathrooms.

The students have been protesting for the past two days. They met the students and found out what had happened.  As soon as the matter came to light, the parents also reached the CMR College premises. The students staged a large-scale protest demanding justice for them.  

On the other hand, Medchal ACP Srinivasa Reddy reached there and spoke to the students.  He asked them to call off the protest. However, the students made it clear that they would not call off the protest until they got justice. They demanded that the accused be arrested. Meanwhile, the incident of CCTV cameras in the hostel bathroom became a sensation across the state. (Maxim News)
