IP Facilitation Cell For Entrepreneurs, Innovators Begins

Hyderabad, Jan.8 (Maxim News): Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Telangana State office in partnership with State government has started an IP Facilitation Cell here to provide IP Facilitation Services to entrepreneurs and Innovators.

The cell provides a platform for inventors, MSMEs, academia and startups to facilitate filing of IPR applications till its registration. The cell also offers assistance on IP management, IP Audit and IP Policy along with protection of traditional products through Geographical Indication. D Raju, CII chairman said the IP Facilitation Cell was doing a commendable job and has facilitated 171 IPRs – 16 patents, 91 trademarks, 38 designs and 26 copyrights in 2019.

The startups and entrepreneurs, along with entire ecosystem will benefit from IP cell through its empanelled IPR Attorney and in-house IP experts. IPR counseling and guidance will be given to the all inventors and startups on IP awareness and IP filings. Subhajit Saha, CII Director has urged the Industry and Academia to come forward and avail the unique services of the IP facilitation cell to increasing IP filings in the state of Telangana.
