Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma on Thursday has created history in IPL 2020. He has become the third batsman to score 5,000 runs in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Rohit Sharma has reached the milestone hitting boundary off Mohammed Shami in the second over.
Before Rohit Sharma, the cricketers Virat Kohli and Suresh Raina had registered their names crossing 5000 runs, and they are at the first and second spots, respectively. Rohit has now 5002 runs at the third spot. Virat Kohli has topped the list with 5430 runs, followed by Suresh Raina, who has 5368 runs. Sunrisers Hyderabad David Warner has 4793 runs, and he is in the fourth place.
