Iran Bombs Saudi Petrol Wells: Saudi Aramco Refinery Shut Down

Riyadh/internet/Hyderabad, mar 2 (Maxim News): The flames of war in West Asia have now spread to the ‘oil’ fields that breathe life into the global economy.  Iran has begun to damage the financial roots of Saudi Arabia in retaliation for the death of its Supreme leader.  Iran’s drone attack on Saudi Aramco’s Ras Tanura, known as one of the world’s largest oil refineries, has become a sensation.

Iran has launched one of its most lethal Shahed – 136 drones at the Saudi Aramco refinery, the backbone of Saudi Arabia.  The attack, which took place in the early hours of Monday, caused a massive fire at the Ras Tanura refinery.  Experts are concerned that this is not just a military attack, but could paralyze global oil supplies and plunge the world into an economic crisis.

Saudi Arabia has temporarily closed its Ras Tanura refinery due to security concerns following the attack.  The closure of the facility, which supplies millions of barrels of oil to world markets every day, was a chock to the global economy.  it has plunged the crude oil market into its worst crisis in decades.  Although the fire has now been contained, markets are reeling from the damage and fears of future attacks.

Iran is now targeting the energy resources of the Gulf countries in response to Israeli and American attacks.  This attack on Saudi Arabia threatens to send crude oil prices skyrocketing.  This is a big blow to countries like India, as well are heavily dependent on the crude oil of the Gulf countries for our energy needs.

Saudi officials are currently reviewing the situation after the latest attack.  In addition to further strengthening defense systems, they are preparing for a counter attack with the cooperation of the United States.  If these attacks continue like this, experts predict that it will not only be limited to West Asia but also threaten to shatter the global economy.
