Earlier, Amoy Kumar worked as Ranga Reddy District Collector. In this context, Amoy came to the ED hearing along with the lawyer on Wednesday morning. After that, the ED started the investigation.
Meanwhile, ED officials found that 50 acres of Bhudan land had been alienated. The division of Bhudan lands came to light during the vigilance investigation. A case was inevitably registered against the then MRO Jyoti in this matter. After the case was registered against Jyoti, the vigilance officials took up the investigation. ED conducted the investigation based on a vigilance investigation. In this order, Amoy Kumar was the then collector of Rangareddy district, and the ED issued a notice to him. Today, the investigation was started.
A dispute has been going on for some time over 102.2 acres in survey numbers 181, and 182 in Nagaram. The board claims that 50 acres of land belong to the Bhudan Board. But this land is registered in the name of Jabbar Dasta Khan. Later Jabbar Khan’s son Haji Khan donated this 50 acres of land to the Bhudan Board. However, in 2021, a woman named Khadar Unisa applied to claim that 40 acres belonged to Haji Khan. As a result, land registration was done in her name. The investigation revealed that the RDO, Tahsildar, RIs, and senior assistant worked in her favor at the field level.

In two cases, the ED entered the field after large-scale financial transactions took place. Currently, the investigation of IAS officer Amoy Kumar is going on. (Maxim News)
