Is Kejriwal, AAP CM candidate for Punjab? Manish Sisodia statement creates flutter

AAP leader Manish Sisodia’s exhortation at a rally in Mohali asking people to vote for AAP with Arvind Kejriwal as the chief ministerial candidate, has taken Congress and SAD with surprise and both parties are now trying to label AAP a party of outsiders and Non Punjabis.

Traditional rivals Congress and SAD are trying to give it a Sikh Versus Hindu, Punjabi versus Non Punjabi hue, implying a Hindu face cannot rule a Sikh state.

unjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal while asking voters to oppose this move to foist an outsider on them, the deputy CM said “we are Punjabis foremost and Akalis and Congressmen or BJP supporters later. If an outsider becomes CM of our State our very existence is at stake.”

Congress and SAD are on the same page on the issue.
