Jagan Fulfills One More Promise, Funds Released For Agri-Gold Victims

Amaravati, Oct.19 (Maxim News): Fulfilling another promise made in the election Manifesto, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy released the first installment of Rs. 264.99 crore, for payment to as many as 3,69,655 Agri-Gold company victims, who have deposits of less than Rs. 10,000 in the company.

The Government today issued orders according administrative sanction for release of the amount. The amount will be distributed to victims in the 13 districts of the State. The Principal Secretary, Home, KRM Kishore Kumar today issued orders in this regard.

It may be recalled that the depositors were allegedly cheated by the management of Agri Gold Group of Companies (AGGC) earlier. As per the High Court order and the government initiative, the amount will be paid from district legal cell.(Maxim News)
