Jagan participates Maha Samprokshana at Sri Vakulamata temple

Tirupati, June 23 (Maxim News): Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday participated in the imposing Maha Samprokshanam fete organised at Sri Vakulamata temple developed at Patakalva (Perur Banda) near Tirupati.

Earlier, TTD EO AV Dharma Reddy, along with Minister Peddireddi Ramachandra Reddy welcomed the Chief Minister with a flower bouquet at Vakulamata temple.

Thereafter the Chief Minister adorned traditional dress and stepped into the temple, by sprinkling the sacred water from the Pushkarini and planted the symbolic TTD iconic tree Manu Sampangi (Magnolia Champaca).

TTD Vaikhanasa Agama Advisor Dr Vedanta Vishnu Bhattacharyulu and Archakas welcomed the Chief Minister with Poorna Kumbham on his arrival at the main entrance of the temple where he also unveiled a plank depicting the Maha Samprokshana fete.

The Chief Minister was taken for Darshan of Sri Vakulamata and later Vedic pundits rendered Ashirvahachanam and TTD EO presented a dry technology made portrait of Sri Vakulamata and also Thirtha Prasadams.

Deputy Chief Ministers Narayana Swami, Sathyanarayana, Minister Roja, MP Mithun Reddy, Vemireddi Prabhakar Reddy, MLAs B Karunakar Reddy, C Bhaskar Reddy, Adimoolam, J Srinivasulu, C Ramachandra Reddy, K Srinivasulu, Meda Mallikarjun Reddy, MLC Bharat, Zilla Parishad chairman Srinivasulu, TTD board members P Ashok Kumar, Katasani Rambhupal Reddy, Delhi LAC president V Prasanthi Reddy, CM’s Special Secretary Dr KS Jawahar Reddy, District Collector Venkata Ramana Reddy, SP Parameshwar Reddy, JEOs Sada Bhargavi, Veerabrahmam, CVSO Narasimha Kishore and others were present.
