Jagga Slams Harish For Belittling Congress

Hyderabad, Dec.16 (Maxim News): Congress MLA from Sangareddy T Jayaprakash Reddy today came down heavily against his arch political rival Finance Minister T Harish Rao for making insulting comments on his party. He made it clear that Harish Rao was too small to comment about the Congress.

In an informal chat with mediapersons here, Jagga Reddy made it clear that the dreams of Harish Rao to bury the Congress from the political scene in the State would never be realized. He asked the TRS leader where he would have been had the Congress did not give Telangana State. He also said Harish Rao had become cabinet minister due to the efforts made by the Congress party to form separate Telangana State.

Jayaprakash Reddy said Harish Rao was making baseless allegations against the Congress with an intention to please his Chief Minister uncle K Chandrashekhar Rao. He said the Chief Minister was aware of the status of the Congress party. Stating that the “dramas” of the Finance Minister would run in the state till his party remains in power, the Congress MLA said Harish Rao would disappear from the political scene after the return of the Congress to power.

Commenting on the upcoming municipal elections in Sangareddy district, Jagga Reddy made it clear that the Congress would win all the eight municipalities in the district. He also said his party would contest the elections with complete support from senior party leaders like Damodar Raja Narasimha, Geeta Reddy and Suresh Shetkar. He also made it clear that the Congress was ready to face the municipal elections at any time. (Maxim News)
