Jagga Urges Rahul To Keep Off Lobbyists In Selection Of CLP Leader
Hyderabad, Jan.18 (Maxim News): Congress MLA from Sangareddy Toorpu Jayaprakash Reddy alias Jagga Reddy today said he would abide by the decision of Congress president Rahul Gandhi on the issue of appointment of CLP leader in the State. He also said the party high command should reward those who worked hard for the development of the party.
During an informal chat with mediapersons in the Assembly lobbies today, Jayaprakash Reddy felt that the really hard working cadres were not getting recognition in Delhi. He also said the existing lobbying system in Delhi should be stopped forthwith. He also alleged that the coterie around Rahul Gandhi was not allowing hard working leaders to meet him. He urged the party high command to encourage the leader, who was good at receiving people of the State.
He also forewarned the party high command that the party would incur losses if CLP leader was elected through lobbying. He said Rahul Gandhi should get a secret report on the selection of CLP leader before taking a decision. (Maxim News)
