Jagtial/Hyderabad, Jan 16 (Maxim News): The farmers of Jagtial continued their protest to protect their lands, demanding the cancellation of the Jagtial Master Plan, even today. The farmers who hit the road to protest are protesting to protect their land. They staged a dharna on the Jagtial and Nizamabad roads.
They demanded the Municipal Commissioner and the District Collector solve their problems. They raised slogans to protect their lands from the industrial zone. There was heavy traffic jam due to dharna on the road. This led to an argument between the police and the farmers. The Sarpanchs are supporting the farmers who are protesting against the Master Plan.
The ruling party leaders are warning that they are ready to resign if the master plan is not canceled. On the other hand, the protestors are saying that they are ready to commit suicide in front of the Collector’s office if their lands are confiscated. (Maxim News)
