Jeevan Reddy Says TS Govt Achieved Progress In Liquor Sales
Hyderabad, March 17 (Maxim News): Congress party MLC T. Jeevan Reddy said budget session of state assembly ignored questions raised by opposition political party leaders. He mocked that the TRS led state government had made a lot of progress in sale of liquor.
Speaking to media persons, he said that the state government was going to borrow Rs. 42, 300 crores in the coming financial year and added that the total debt of the state government would reach Rs. 3,18,805 crore with the inclusion of the proposed debt. He alleged that the state government had made Telangana as the number one state in the sales of liquor in the country. He said that the consumption of liquor was destroying the family system in the state. He alleged that there were 10 belt shops in every village.
Reddy asked the state government to reveal the percentage of Telangana youth in the IT sector of the state while alleging that the non locals were in majority in all the IT companies of the state. He mocked that the state finance minister T. Harish Rao said that the youth of the state had got jobs in the field of catering when the youth of the state were demanding jobs in the IT sector. He demanded the state government to provide reservations to 85 percent of the local youth of the state in all the companies being set up with the subsidies of the state government. He alleged that the state government had turned the unemployed youth into boozers.(Maxim News)
