Jeevan Reddy Slams CM For Not Fulfilling Promises
Hyderabad, March 24 (Maxim News): Senior Congress leader and former minister T. Jeevan Reddy on Sunday launched scathing attack against Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao saying that the CM and his party had failed to fulfill even a single promise made to Jagtiyal district in their last five year rule.
He also alleged that the TRS, which had promised to turn the Mallapur sugar factory into a public limited company within 100 days of coming to power, had not only failed to keep its promise but also shut the factory down completely. Noting that the State government made an allocation of Rs 800 crore for the agriculture sector, he said not even Rs 8 was spent for the development of the agriculture sector.
Addressing mediapersons in Jagtiyal, Jeevan Reddy said the TRS party failed to set up turmeric board in the district. He said the TRS also failed to get minimum support price to turmeric crop. (Maxim News)
