Jubilee Hills By-Poll: First Nomination Filed By Independent Candidates
Hyderabad, Oct 13 (Maxim News):The nomination process for the Jubilee Hills by-election began today, As the notification was released this morning, several candidates moved fast to file their nominations. Pesari Kayala Parikshit Reddy filed one set of nominations as an independent candidate in the Jubilee Hills bypoll today.
Similarly, another independent candidate, Siluveru Srikanth, filed two sets of nominations today and another independent candidate Chalika Chadrasekhar filed one set of nomination. Therefore, the contest now has independents on the ballot alongside party hopefuls
With nominations open, Jubilee Hills politics has turned lively. The main parties are working hard to win. Naveen Yadav is the candidate from the Congress party. Maganti Sunitha, the wife of late MLA Maganti Gopinath, is in the fray as the BRS candidate. Meanwhile, the BJP has not yet announced its candidate.
