JVR Park In Banjara Hills To Be Developed: Gadwal Vijayalakshmi

Hyderabad, September 16: Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi said that Banjara Hills Jalagam Vengalarao Park will be developed. On Saturday, Mayor JVR Park was inspected along with Commissioner Ronald Rose and Zonal Commissioners.

Speaking on this occasion, the Mayor said that Telangana Facility Promotion has come forward to undertake various development works in the park specially for the residents of the city through CSR method with their own funds. Mayor explained that landscaping, pond water quality and other development works will be undertaken in JVR Park. Besides, herbal garden and children’s play area will be developed, said the mayor. On this occasion, the Commissioner and Mayor talked to Walkers and inquired about the facilities in the park.

On this occasion, Commissioner Ronald Rose said that he is working for the development of parks in the city. The commissioner said that steps have been taken for the development of Indira Park and necessary steps have been taken to complete the incomplete theme parks as well. Apart from that, the commissioner said that rain water diversion in JVR Park has been undertaken at a cost of 67 lakhs.

On this occasion, Mayor and Commissioner jointly distributed clay Ganesh idols on the occasion of Vinayaka Chavithi festival. He said that GHMC is distributing clay idols of Ganesha to the city residents on the occasion of Vinayaka Chavithi festival. Everyone is asked to worship soil Ganesha to protect the environment.

Zonal Commissioner Venkatesh Dhotre, Additional Commissioner UBD Krishna, Sanitation Additional Commissioner Upender Reddy, UBD Director Srinivas, Zonal SE Ratnakar, Telangana Facility Promotion Organization representative Satyaraj and others participated in this program.
