Hyderabad, June 12 (Maxim News): Senior BJP leader and former MLA Dr. K. Laxman today lashed out at CM KCR for keeping him and other party leaders under house arrest. He asked the CM if there was any rule of law and governance in the state. He made these remarks after the local police kept him and party floor leader in state Assembly T. Raja Singh and party floor leader in legislative council N. Ramachandra Rao under house arrest. The action of the police came in the wake of the decision of the party to submit a representation to CM KCR at Pragathi Bhavan on the issue of the spread of corona virus in the state.
The party leaders sought the appointment of the CM to meet him and submit the representation. However they did not get the appointment of the CM. Left with no option, the three leaders decided to go to Pragathi Bhavan directly and submit the representation without any appointment. Keeping this in mind, huge number of police forces were deployed at Pragathi Bhavan.
Speaking on the occasion, Laxman alleged that the corona virus detection tests were the lowest in the state in the entire country. He also alleged that there were hardly any facility for the corona virus patients at Gandhi hospital. He said that the people of the state were having a feeling that they should rather go graveyard than visiting the Gandhi hospital due to its poor conditions. Laxman also alleged that the authorities of the Gandhi hospital were also not handing over the dead bodies of the covid 19 patients to their family members properly.
He said that it had become very common for the ruling TRS party leaders to attack opposition party leaders whenever they raised questions over public problems. He wondered if there was any special constitution in the Telangana state like the revoked Article 370 of Indian constitution. (Maxim News)
