Karnataka Election Results Live: Congress Leading
Karnataka Election Results Live | Congress touched the triple-digit mark in early trends on May 13 in the counting of votes for the Karnataka Assembly polls. As per the latest Election Commission data at 10:35 a.m., Congress is leading in 112 seats while the BJP is ahead in 74 seats.
JD(S) is leading in 30, Kalyana Rajya Pragathi Paksha and Sarvodaya Karnataka Paksha in one each while three Independent candidates are ahead in the initial trends. The counting is being held at 36 centers across the State, in which 2,615 candidates are in the fray. As per the Election Commission, voting on May 10 passed off peacefully with an impressive turnout of over 72.68%, which is likely to surpass the 2018 figures (72.36%) after the final reconciliation of figures.
The current term of the government will end on May 24, 2023.
