Karnataka Election Results: Rahul Gandhi On Congress’s Big Win

Delhi/Hyderabad, May 13 (Maxim News): Congress leader Rahul Gandhi expressed happiness over the victory of the Congress in the Karnataka Elections. He thanked the people of Karnataka for the huge success.

Speaking to the media, today, he expressed confidence that similar results will be obtained at the Center and the states in the coming days, saying that this is a victory for the people of Karnataka. He said that every activist has worked hard in Karnataka. He said that the bazaar of enmity has closed and the shop of love has opened. He said that the Congress fought on behalf of the poor. It is the victory of the weak over the strong. He said that there was a war between the rich and the poor. Rahul Gandhi has made it clear that he will fill the five promises made by the Congress party during the Karnataka elections.

Here is what Rahul Gandhi said after Congress’s victory in Karnataka assembly election:

1. We contested Karnataka polls with love, not hate; ‘nafrat ka bazaar closed down’, ‘mohabbat ki dukaanein’ have opened.

2. Strength of poor people defeated power of crony capitalists, this will happen in all states.

3. In Karnataka polls, on one side there was power of crony capitalists, on other there was strength of poor people.

4. I thank and congratulate people of Karnataka, party workers and leaders.
