KCR, Family Offer Prayers At Tirumala & Tiruchanur
Hyderabad, May 27 (Maxim News): Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, along with his family members, had darshan of Lord Sri Venkateshwara Swamy at Tirumala in the early hours of Monday. They entered the temple through Mahadwaram and offered prayers.
The Chief Minister and his entourage were welcomed by TTD chairman Putta Sudhakar Yadav, TTD executive officer Anil Kumar Singhal and other TTD officials. Temple priests welcomed the Chief Minister with Poorna Kumbham and chanting of Vedic hymns as per the tradition. The visitors were presented with silk clothes and prasadam by the temple authorities after they offered prayers and performed special puja to the presiding deity.
Chandrashekhar Rao and his family members also visited Tiruchanur and offered prayers to Goddess Padmavathi. Later, they also visited Thummalagunta and performed puja at the Sri Kalyana Venkateshwara Swamy temple.
YSRCP MLAs Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy, Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy and others accompanied the Telangana Chief Minister. After lunch at the residence of Bhaskar Reddy, the Chief Minister along with his family members left for Hyderabad in a special flight. (Maxim News)
