Hyderabad, Jan 11 (Maxim News): Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has instructed the officials concerned to prepare proposals for the funds to be allocated for Minority Welfare in the ensuing Annual Budget of the State. The Chief Minister held a review meeting on the Minority Welfare at Pragathi Bhavan here on Wednesday.
The Chief Minister wanted Residential Schools for the Minorities should be increased based on the need and necessity. He wanted the district collectors to monitor implementation of the Minority welfare programmes and suggested that regular health check up’s should be held in the schools. He also asked the officials to prepare proposals to encourage Minorities in the field of Information technology and Industrial sector. The minorities should also be encouraged to take up contracts.
Advisor to the State Government (Minority Welfare) AK Khan, Senior CMO Officials, Bhoopal Reddy, Ms Smita Sabharwal, Minority Welfare Secretary Syed Omer Jaleel, Minority Finance Corporation B Shafiullah were present. (Maxim News)
