KCR inaugurates Swarna Bharat Trust-Hyderabad Chapter
Hyderabad, Jan 16 (Maxim News): Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao inaugurated Swarna Bharat Trust-Hyderabad Chapter at Muchhintal village in Shamshabad near here on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, the KCR expressed his happiness over the establishment of the Swarna Bharat Trust in Telangana and assured that the state government will extend all help to the trust.
While impressing Gandhi’s slogan “Back to Village” quoted by the trust, the Chief Minister KCR asked the trust authorities to take necessary steps to bring back the past glory of the villages.
While recalling the initiatives of Bandarker and S K Day on the occasion, Mr Rao said that with the initiative of Bandarker, Maharashtra is exporting Grapes worth about Rs 10,000 crore. To empower the rural people, S K Day established first National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (NIRD & PR) here.
It is to mention here that this is the third chapter after establishing one at Venkatachalam in Nellore district another at Vijayawada in Krishna District by the trust.
Empowering rural people with information and awareness, providing training to the rural youth in self-employment schemes, extending medical and health facilities to the rural poor and imparting technical skills among the rural youth are the main objectives of the Trust.
Information & Broadcasting Minister M Venkaiah Naidu, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, Union Minister of State for Labour and Employment Bandru Dattatreya, MPs, MLAs, political leaders, industrialists and others have also participated. (Maxim News)
