Hyderabad, Jan.26 (Maxim News): Secretariat Construction: The Chief Minister of the State K Chandrashekhar Rao here on Tuesday visited and inspected the progress of ongoing construction works of New Secretariat Building.

The CM went around and visited every nook and corner and interacted with the engineers on the site and representatives of working agency. The CM instructed them to speed up the works and asked them to maintain the highest quality standards in construction.
Secretariat Construction:
The CM visited the construction sites of the Main Entrance, other gates and main building complex. The CM examined the designs.
State Ministers Vemula Prashanth Reddy, Mohammod Ali, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Koppula Eshwar, Government’s Chief Advisor Rajiv Sharma, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, R&B Principal Secretary Sunil Sharma, E-n-C Ganapathi Reddy, Rythu Bandhu Samithi President Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, MLA Muthireddy Yadagiri Reddy accompanied the CM KCR.
It is to mention here that some of the approach roads are likely to be closed for six months once the construction work begins. This would be necessary as heavy vehicles carrying construction material like huge precast cement bricks and steel would have to be transported.
The tendering process and awarding the works was under progress. Work would begin immediately after the tenders were finalised and the construction is likely to be completed in a year.
KCR will finalize the schedule for the completion of the works in a phased manner, including the construction of the places of worship in the premises. It is said that the exact location for the construction of religious places has already been finalised. (Maxim News)
