KCR is not Kaleswar Rao but ‘Kajeswar Rao’: pokes Dr Laxman

Hyderabad, August 19: Bharatiya Janata Party state senior leader Gudur Narayana Reddy on Friday grandly felicitated BJP Central Election Committee and party’s Parliamentary Board member Dr K Laxman at his residence at Gudur of Bhuvanagiri Assembly Constituency.

Laxman has been recently appointed as BJP Central Election Committee and Parliamentary Board member. He was also elected as member of Rajya Sabha recently. Laxman visited Narayana Reddy’s residence on Friday. He was accorded warm welcome by Gudur Narayana Reddy and other BJP leaders.

On this occasion Dr Laxman addressed the media, along with Gudur Narayana Reddy, BJP senior leaders Chada Suresh Reddy and Nandiswar Goud and strongly criticized the TRS government in the state for its corruption. He has called upon the people of the state to end the dynastic and corrupt rule of Telangana Rashtra Samithi in the state.

“It is lamentable to note that it seems like statehood to Telangana has been achieved only for the benefit of Kaluwakuntla family. No one should support the corrupt leaders who want to escape the clutches of the law with the help of political relations,” Laxman said.

The Rajya Sabha member criticized that the corrupt political families have been trying to politicize even the constitutional bodies.

Speaking about Kaleswaram project, Dr Laxman said that it was not a wonder but a blunder. He said that Rs one lakh crores being spent on the project has been wasted like pouring scent in the ashes.

He criticized that the ruling party has turned the project as an ATM. “Mother Godavari was enraged with the rampant corruption in the project and caused floods to expose swindling of thousands of crores rupees in the construction of the project,” he added.

Criticising the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao sarcastically for the corruption in Kaleswaran project, the senior BJP leader said, “KCR has been called as Kaleswar Rao in the past for constructing a giant project like Kaleswaram. But now we have to call him as ‘Kajeswar Rao’, who pilfers the money from other’s pockets.”

He alleged that TRS and Congress were two sides of the same coin. He said that former Munugodu MLA K Rajagopal Reddy resigned to Congress as the Grand Old Party did not take any action even though 12 MLAs of it have joined the Telangana Rashtra Samithi.

He strongly opined that the political situation in the state would undergo drastic changes after the election in Munugodu Assembly Constituency is over.
