KCR Meets Guv, Apprises Her Of RTC Strike Loss, Privatization Of Bus Routes
Hyderabad, Nov.25 (Maxim News): Ahead of plans to privatize 5,100 bus routes, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao today called on Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan here.
The Chief Minister met her at Raj Bhavan and apprised her of the High Court giving nod for bus routes’ privatization and on employees’ future. The Chief Minister discussed his plans on RTC future and plan to offer VRS, new Revenue Act and others, it is learnt. KCR’s meeting with the Governor gets importance as the court offered nod to bus routes’ privatization in TSRTC.
KCR apprised the Governor on RTC strike, High Court nod for bus routes privatization and the strike entering 52nd day. He was sore with the RTC employees going on strike causing loss to the corporation on the eve of Dasara and Deepawali festivals and hardship to people.
It may be mentioned here that Opposition parties slammed the State government on RTC staff strike and sought intervention of the Governor, the Centre and said to meet President Ramnath Kovind. (Maxim News)
