KCR should come out clear over his Corona infection news: Gudur

• CM has the habit of going into quarantine for past six years: Congress

Hyderabad, July 7 (Maxim News): Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Treasurer Gudur Narayana Reddy on Tuesday said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has been avoiding public appearance and isolating himself for the reasons best known to him.

Narayana Reddy, in a media statement, said that KCR was not behaving like an elected representative but running the government as if he is a King to this state and only coming out to give some ‘sensational’ statements once in a while. “In fact, the Chief Minister has been addicted to self-quarantine and hiding for the past six years. He either goes to his farm house or somewhere else as if he is a Rushi or Swamy”, he stated.

He asked the Chief Minister to come out clear on news of him infected with Corona. “KCR is a CM of the state and he should come out of hiding and clarify on the news of Corona infection”, he demanded.

Questioning the speed with which the state government wanted to demolish the Secretariat, he said that the government could not postpone it and turn the Secretariat building into a quarantine centre for six months.”

When people of the state are suffering because of Coronavirus, the chief minister is not even interested to look into the situation at the ground level, he added. He said that dozens of people are dying because of complexities related to Corona infections in the city. He said that government hospital doctors were attributing all the deaths to heart attacks whereas these attacks are caused because of Corona.

The state is functioning only because of few honest officers, he felt. He said that people are of the view that Chief Minister is not in his senses and majority of the cabinet are mere a group of dummies. “I have been trying to reach out to Health Minister Etala Rajendar enquiring the norms for the proposed ‘Plasma Donors Association’ but he is not respoinding”, he further said.

It is not in the favor of people to wait and watch in this situation but opposition parties would definitely pressurize the government to come out clear and work in a proper way to rein in the Corona onslaught, he added.

Narayana said that while the Andhra Pradesh Government had conducted 11 lakh tests, the Telangana government did only 1 lakh tests, and termed it appalling. The AP Government had also arranged 1,000 ambulances in the State to deal with the Corona crisis. He further stated that CM KCR failed even to arrange a single Ambulance vehicle for each district which he created with a lot of pomp.

Poor people are unable to arrange any vehicle including ambulance in case of any health emergency in the state, he said. Advising people to improve the immunity he said that Coronavirus is not a unique or isolated disease but it affected many rulers in the world. He advised people to use citrus, and other healthy foods to improve immunity.

Narayana Reddy termed Home Minister Mahmood Ali a liar and said that how could he say that he was cured by using Tulasi leaves. (Maxim News)
