KCR Should Resign Immediately And Disclose Under Which Act, Information Of MLA’s Baiting Case Reached Him: Cong

Hyderabad, Dec 29 (Maxim News): The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee, Senior Vice President, G. Niranjan demanded that Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao resign immediately from the post and disclose this material and facts of the Moinabad FarmHouse MLAs baiting case reached to him.

Speaking to press persons, here today, the Congress leaders said that Telangana High Court in its judgment on the MLAs baiting case has pointed out several critical issues and commented that neither the SIT nor the government nor the Advocates on behalf of the Government have brought it to the notice of the High Court under which act and under which provision that information was reached to the Chief Minister.

The High Court not only dismissed the appointment of the SIT but also canceled the earlier investigation by the SIT and concerned ACP and handed over the case to the CBI.

The High Court held that the investigating officers have committed a grave blunder by failing to prevent the most crucial evidence from reaching others and immediate action should be taken against the police officials responsible and they should be suspended. He said that KCR should take responsibility and resign from his CM’s post as the High Court has observed that the State government has set up the SIT on November 9 to cover up these irregularities.

The Congress leader has suggested that Government officials working in various capacities should also learn a lesson in the background of this judgment and they should perform their duties in accordance with the rules and regulations without succumbing to the pressure of those in power.

He also said that both BJP and BRS who are in power in the Center and State should learn a lesson and not resort to encouraging defections from other political parties. They can strengthen their political parties in a democratic way otherwise the people will teach a good lesson to them in near future. (Maxim News)
