KCR Showered Blessing On Khammam District

Khammam/Hyderabad, Jan 18 (Maxim News): Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao sanctioned money to Gram Panchayats in Khammam district at the BRS meeting. He said that there are 589 village panchayats in Khammam district and Rs. 10 lakhs is being sanctioned to each village from the Chief Minister’s special fund.

He said that Rs. 10 crores is being sanctioned to the villages of Pedthanda, Kallur, Edulapuram, Tallada, and Nelakondapally which are major village panchayats with a population of more than 10,000. he said that another Rs. 50 crore is being sanctioned for the development of Khammam Municipality. He said that the Municipalities Madhira, Vaira, and Sathupalli are being sanctioned Rs. 30 crores each. It has been announced that a government engineering college in Khammam will be sanctioned under the auspices of JNTU.

KCR said that the next government at the Center will be “Kisan Sarkar”, he said the agriculture sector will be given more importance in the country, keeping in view that Indian lands are more suitable for agriculture, and there is immense water wealth. He said America is two and a half times bigger than us, but the agricultural land there is only 22 percent. China is one and a half times bigger than us, they have 16 percent of agricultural land. The land area of India is 83 crore acres. Out of this average half of 41 crore acres i.e. half of the land is suitable for agriculture. The immense water wealth provides 1.40 lakh tmcs of rain, if 70 percent of tmcs evaporates, the water we use is 70-75 thousand timcs of water, there is land, there is water, we are a country that has wonderful sunlight to grow crops. Other countries do not have this kind of climate. In the country of 130 crore people who work hard, for McDonald’s pizzas and burgers, the world has created an excellent food chain.

He said that India has the opportunity by putting food processing industries connected to it.. in which quota can be created to create jobs for crores of people and to be the best food chain of the world. India imports pulses from Canada today, what a shame, is there anything more to it? is it more shameful to import edible oil worth one lakh crores of rupees, said KCR? (Maxim News)
