Hyderabad, Aug.30 (Maxim News): The Union government has issued a gazette notification approving TRS government’s proposal for creation of new zonal system in the State.
The notification was issued following President Ramnath Kovind signing the file concerned forwarded by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs after Prime Minister Narendra Modi approved it. Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao, during his recent visit to New Delhi met the Prime Minister and impressed upon him about the clearance of his government’s proposal for new zonal system to enable the State administration to go ahead with job recruitments.
As per the new zonal system, there would be seven zones and two multi-zones and accordingly 95 percent of the jobs would be earmarked only for the locals. Those who studied from Class I to VII here would be treated as locals. Once the clearance for the new zonal system comes from the Centre, KCR was planning to take up recruitment to the tune 50,000 new jobs.
Elated by the Centre’s clearance for the new zonal system, the Chief Minister conveyed his thanks to the President and the Prime Minister. (Maxim News)
