KCR | Hyderabad, Feb. 1: BRS chief and former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will appear before the Special Investigation Team today in connection with the Phone Tapping Case.
First, KCR will leave his Erravalli farmhouse at 9:30 am. Next, he will reach his Nandinagar residence in Banjara Hills by 11:30 am. Later, the SIT will question him at 3 pm.
Meanwhile, senior BRS leaders have decided to stay at Telangana Bhavan during the inquiry. These leaders include Harish Rao, K T Rama Rao, MLAs, and MLCs.
The party took this step to closely monitor developments.
KCR | Statewide BRS Protests Announced
At the same time, the BRS has called for statewide protests against the SIT inquiry. As a result, party leaders have mobilized cadres from Hyderabad and nearby districts.
In addition, organizers have arranged meals for nearly 2,500 supporters at Telangana Bhavan. Furthermore, KTR has urged party workers to stage protests across villages, mandals, towns, and district headquarters.
These protests will include rallies, dharnas, and rasta rokos. However, party leaders have clearly instructed cadres to remain peaceful and avoid inconvenience to the public.
Police Tighten Security
Because of the protests, police have imposed traffic restrictions around Telangana Bhavan and nearby areas. Also, authorities have deployed additional personnel to manage crowds and maintain law and order.
