KCR Took Away Freedom Of Press: Made Journalist Life Difficult: Minister Ponguleti

Khammam/Hyderabad, June 19 (Maxim News): Minister for Revenue and Information, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said that freedom of the press has been lost in the past 10 years.  He reminded that Journalists in the previous government had given them immense difficulties.  In the past, KCR was criticized for hypnotizing journalists.

He said only the Congress government during the late Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy period has done good to journalists.  We, who elected the government to bring about change, will achieve everything.

He said that lands will be acquired for journalists on a war footing.  In Khammam, the Journalists were told that it would be cleared in two to three days.  He said that the healthcare issue will be resolved.  He said that the role of Journalists in the formation of the new government is very important.  He said that he expresses his deepest sympathy to the martyred journalists.  Minister Ponguleti said that a law will be drafted to regulate attacks on journalists.  (Maxim News)
