Hyderabad, Oct.4 (Maxim News): Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today met with Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi as part of his tour. KCR met with Amit Shah for about 40 minutes and discussed on State issues and sought steps for national status to either Kaleshwaram, or Palamur Ranga Reddy lift projects.
The Chief Minister is understood to have urged Shah to see that Prime Minister Narendra Modi give his nod for decision to link Godavari and Krishna rivers as two Telugu States decided to share waters and sought his cooperation for State development. The Chief Minister is said to have sought the Centre speedy solution to bifurcation issues among two Telugu states besides seeking immediate release of the funds to the State under various heads.
The Chief Minister also apprised Shah of law and order situation, control of left wing extremism in the state and others. He is learnt to have informed Shah about flagship programs, irrigation projects, welfare in the State. KCR is to meet with Modi and other ministers during his stay in Delhi in State issues.
