Kenyan among three held for drug peddling
Hyderabad, Dec.24 (Maxim News): On a tip-off, Malkajgiri Special Operations Team along with Neredmet police apprehended three drug peddlers, including a Kenya national, at Gokulnagar, Sainikpuri under Neredmet PS limits and seized from them 10 gram cocaine in 127 small packets, four kg ganga pack and three cell phones from their possession and handed them over to the Neredmet police.
The accused were identified as Mwandeje Jillani Raymond, 26, a Kenyan national, residing Gokul Nagar, Sainikpuri, Peramvudur Sumanth, 19, of Madhura Nagar, Neredmet, Md Hussain, 19, of Armoor, Nizamabad District and Sam, a Nigerian residing at Suncity, Rajendranagar (absconding).
Police said the Kenyan national residing at Sainikpuri was arrested on a tip-off that he was consuming and supplying banned Narcotics substances Cocaine, Ganja (weed), LSD Blots to the customers, which he was procuring from drug traffickers Sam, John Paul, Gabriel and others and selling one gram of Cocaine for Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,000.
Last year, Gabriel, John Paul, Cosmos, Ciril, Navyanth, Ganath Reddy, Sangeetha, DJ Ankith Pandey and Pavan Kumar Reddy were arrested and a large quantity of contraband narcotic substances like Cocaine, LSD Blots, MDMA, GANJA and AMPHATAMINE tablets were seized from their possession.
At presently Raymond Jillani Mwandeje was maintaining contacts with the drug peddlers and procuring the drugs from Sam, a Nigerian and secretly selling and supplying to his customers and students. The Kenyan was working as an agent to Sam and John Paul, Gabriel and other Nigerians.
Sumanth came in contact with one Hussain of Armoor and was procuring ganja and selling it to Sumanth and others for Rs 4500 per kg. Earlier, Hussain was arrested by the Banjara Hills Police in NDPS case. Raymond came to India from Kenya on a student visa in 2013 and studied B.Com in the Nizam College and now studying MBA II year from St. Marys Integrated Campus Hyderabad near Ramoji Film City.
