The indefinite protest by five legislators of the Congress-led opposition in the Kerala Assembly to press for sacking of Health Minister K.K. Shailaja, who faces nepotism charges, entered its second day on Tuesday.
While the legislators spent Monday night at the foyer of the assembly, the opposition was on Tuesday too in protest mode right from the Question Hour.
Each time Shailaja, who was held in a recent Kerala High Court judgement to have misused her office to appoint a member of the state child rights panel, rose to answer, the opposition members were also on their feet.
