Kiran Bedi stresses on e-learning in police training
Puducherry Lt. Governor Kiran Bedi on Thursday stressed the need to adopt e-learning techniques for training police officers to “cut cost, time and distance”.
“E-learning cuts the cost, time and distance. It is an integral part of digital India initiative of the central government. The trainer should put in complete effort to teach the trainees, because the outcome of the training depends on the way the trainer is,” Bedi said while addressing the 35th National Symposium of Heads of Police Training Institutions.
The two-day event is being organised by the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D) of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
