Kishan Reddy Urges CM Revanth Reddy To Order Probe Into Forest Minister Statements
Hyderabad, May 16 (Maxim News): Union Minister of Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy demanded that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy order a probe into Forest Minister Konda Surekha’s alleged statements that Ministers accept money to clear different files.
The Forest Minister’s statement that “it was common for Ministers to accept commission and clear files” was painful. This was an acknowledgment that Ministers in Telangana were accepting commissions, he said.
“Chief Minister Revanth Reddy should order a department-wise probe on the Ministers’ involvement and the commission demanded by them. All the details should be made public,” Kishan Reddy said while speaking to media persons here on Friday.
Earlier, the Union Minister appealed to leaders, elected public representatives, individuals, and organisations to turn up in large numbers for the Tiranga Yatra to be organized in the city on Saturday.
This was not a political programme. It was being organized to celebrate the Indian armed forces’ valour and performance in “Operation Sindoor,” and people from all sections should participate, he said at a press conference at the BJP office.
The Tiranga Yatra would be conducted from the Ambedkar statue to the Tank Bund. There would be no BJP flags, posters, scarfs or any other party paraphernalia at the programme, the BJP State President added. (Maxim News)
