Kodangal Dargah: Rally postpone on Assurance of Police for Reconstruction
Kodangal Dargah Issue | Kodangal/Hyderabad, Sept 26 (Maxim News): On the assurance given by the Police Superintendent that they will talk with the government for the reconstruction of demolished Kadangal Dargah and graveyards etc. and seeking two days time from the resident, the community members has postpone their proposed rally till September 29 (Monday), this was stated by the AIMIM Kodangal President SB Gulshan,
Addressing the gathering, Gulshan along with other Muslim leaders Mohd Jabbar Haqani, Syed Ishaq Pasha, Syed Arshad Ali Qhadri, Mod. Azhar, Mohd Amer Hussain at the protest meeting organised at Kodangal Makka Masjid.
The Muslim leaders alleged that the Telganana government machinery undertook the operation secretly, without informing the people. The incidents being described as not just a demolition but a direct assault on the sentiments of Muslims. They strongly condemned the act, calling it a grave violation of religious freedom and community rights.

The demolition of Muslim religious properties is unacceptable. This is not only an attack on our sacred spaces but also a psychological assault on the entire community.
They further stressed that such action tears into the fabric of communal harmony in the state. “Attacking places of religious importance in such an inhumane manner amounts to striking at the roots of peace and rights in Telangana..
They rejected the Waqf Board Chairman Syed Azmathulah Hussaini’s statement that miscreants caused the demolition. “This is an attempt to protect the image of a Chief Minister who is anti-Muslim. The Chairman is misleading Muslims. They said, that the Waqf Board Chairman when he visited on the Chief Minister Revanth Reddy instruction promise to undertake reconstruction within 2 days, but week has passed no action from the Waqf Board, atleast Telangana Police Officials have given assurance that they will take the permission from the government for the reconstruction and sought time for two days, on their assurance we have postpone the today’s rally till September 29, (Monday).
