Komati Rajagopal Reddy slams CLP leader for not coming to his rescue in House

Hyderabad, March 15 (Maxim News): Congress MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy today slammed CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka for not coming to his rescue during Monday’s Assembly session. He said he and his brother stood by Vikramarka when he needed their support.

Speaking to media persons at Assembly media point, Rajagopal Reddy said he was hurt at the attitude of the CLP leader. He said the statement of the CLP leader that he and TRS MLA Jeevan Reddy committed mistakes had hurt him and added that the statement of the CLP leader had also prompted the Speaker to remove his speech from the Assembly records.

He said he would have got more strength had his party MLAs stood by him in the House. Referring to the comments made by the TRS MLA Jeevan Reddy, he said he had no need to react to the comments made by the TRS MLA as Jeevan Reddy was not a match to him. Making it clear that he did not leave the party, Rajagopal Reddy said he would quit from all his posts if he wanted to leave the party.

Rajagopal Reddy said he would fight on behalf of the Congress party to defeat Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and added that he would also ensure victory of 10 party MLAs in the Assembly elections. He asserted that the Congress party was still strong in Telangana State as their party still has cadre in all the villages in the State. He said the party would return to power if all the party leaders worked together.

Stating that all the party leaders should hold padayatras in their Assembly constituencies, he said he would welcome the Statewide padayatra of TPCC chief Revanth Reddy if the latter decides to do so. He also declared that he would extend all support to all those, who fight against KCR. (Maxim News)
