Komati Seeks Police Permission For Padayatra From Today

Hyderabad, Aug.25 (Maxim News): Congress MP from Bhongir Komatireddy Venkat Reddy sought permission for his “Udaya Samudram Brahmana Vellamla Lift irrigation project Sadana Rythu Padayatra” from the Rachakonda Police Commissioner. He submitted a letter to this effect on Friday.

In his letter, Venkat Reddy told the Police Commissioner that the padayatra would begin from August 26 to August 29. He said some 5,000 farmers would participate in the padayatra. Informing the Commissioner that the program would be held in a peaceful manner, Komatireddy urged him to grant permission for the same. He has already submitted similar representations to the Director General of Police and Nalgonda district SP. (Maxim News)
