Hyderabad, Jan.25 (Maxim News): TRS party leaders and workers on Saturday “misbehaved” with dissident Congress MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy at vote counting center of Yadagirigutta municipality after declaration of the results of municipal elections.
The ruling party workers pushed the MLA during heated arguments. Alair MLA of the ruling party also misbehaved with Rajagopal Reddy, who was accompanied by his elder brother and Bhongir MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy.
Speaking on the occasion, MP Venkat Reddy said the Congress got a clear majority in Yadagirigutta. He alleged that the ruling party leaders were indulging in horse trading to woo Congress councillors. He demanded that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao respond to his allegations. He also made it clear that his party had not looked towards Alair by conceding their defeat. He complained to the Chief Minister that his party MLA and leaders were threatening Congress leaders along with the police and rowdy elements. (Maxim News)
