Konda Resents Notice To School For Holding Charity Program
Hyderabad, Dec.5 (Maxim News): Congress leader and former MP Konda Visweswar Reddy today expressed his shock over the issuance of a show-cause notice to a school for holding charity program. He alleged that the notice was issued at the behest of a cabinet minister. He said the program was held on behalf of his family-run Konda Madhava reddy Foundation on November 26.
Speaking to mediapersons, Reddy said the Foundation held several awareness programs on the issue of women’s safety, abduction and illegal trafficking of women and sexual harassment. He also said they would also hold a “Toilet cleaning and blanket distribution” programs in the schools. He asked the minister concerned not to do politics with him, but on public problems. He made it clear that he was holding charity programs on behalf of his Foundation in an apolitical manner. (Maxim News)
