Koti Shooting Case: Accused Mislead Police Using Disguise Near Station
Hyderabad, Jan. 31 (Maxim News) : The Koti shooting case took a new turn after police confirmed that the accused deliberately misled investigators before fleeing with stolen cash from near an SBI branch.
According to police findings, the attackers escaped on the victim’s motorcycle after opening fire near the SBI bank in Koti.
During initial CCTV analysis, the suspects appeared to head towards Kachiguda Railway Station, creating a false trail.
Investigators later established that the suspects abandoned their scooter and pretended to enter the railway station.
However, police found that they changed clothes near a D Mart outlet close to the station and escaped wearing caps and a new disguise.

Police officials said the suspects carefully planned the escape to confuse surveillance tracking.
Multiple CCTV cameras showed them altering their appearance before fleeing through an alternate route.
Five special police teams are now tracking the suspects based on extended CCTV footage.
Officers are reviewing hundreds of cameras across central Hyderabad to reconstruct the exact escape path.
Meanwhile, the early morning firing incident has caused widespread concern in the city. Repeated gun related crimes in recent months have raised public anxiety.
Police sources said the investigation is progressing and assured that the accused will be arrested soon.
The incident has also triggered debate over rising firearm related crimes in Hyderabad. (Maxim News)
