KTR is in frustration: Dasoju

Hyderabad, April 21 (Maxim News): AICC spokesperson Dasoju Shrawan today alleged that Industries Minister K Tarakarama Rao seemed to be in frustration. He alleged that KTR avoided any kind of discussion on public problems.

Speaking to media persons, Shrawan referred to the statement of KTR on income being sent by Telangana State to the Central government in the form of taxes, he said the taxes belonged to the people of the State and not the money of the ruling party and the Central government. He alleged that KTR used foul language instead of focusing on the public problems.

Commenting on the issue of GO No.111, he said a high power committee was constituted to review the GO in 2016 and the committee had submitted a report on March 31, 2022. He demanded the State government to make public the issues raised by the committee in its report. Targeting the “Make in India” program of the Union government, he alleged that Hero electric company had fraudulently availed government subsidies by showing the ₹400 crore equipment imported from China as an equipment made in India as part of the Make in India program. He also alleged that a scooter manufacturing company by name Brain line India had also looted public money to the tune of ₹75 crore from the Union government in the name of availing of the Make in India subsidies. He also alleged that the said scooter manufacturing company was importing scooters from foreign countries but availing 100 percent subsidies under the Make in India program.
