Hyderabad, Jan.21 (Maxim News): IT Minister K Tarakarama Rao who is in Davos in Switzerland for 50th World Economic Forum conference, today held meetings with some top companies and urged them to invest in the State.
He was invited to address the international event, which began on Tuesday.
KTR held a meeting with Apollo Tyres Vice Chairman Neeraj Kumar and informed him about the government policies to push industrial growth and business development. He also offered all support and cooperation to the Apollo company to invest in Telangana. KTR apprised him of Telangana being potential hub for electronics, IT, pharma, Textiles, Artificial intelligence, Genome valley, medical devices park and other key sectors.
KTR also held a separate meeting with HPE COO Vishal Lal and informed him about the State initiatives to boost business and industrial growth. He appealed to Lal to invest in chosen sector in Telangana State.
The minister was asked to talk on industrial revolution, technology, challenges and development programs in Telangana State. KTR is to talk about Telangana policies towards reaching the goal of all-round development. (Maxim News)
